GW & Wade’s asset management approach is tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We work closely with you, and base our strategy on your unique investment needs.
Step One: Identify Objectives and Asset Allocation
We work with you to develop short-term and long-term goals for your investments. We then use a proprietary asset management process to determine the optimal allocation for your portfolio. Whether you’re budgeting for college, retirement planning, or other objectives, we’ll help you understand the risks and rewards of different asset allocations.
Step Two: Deploy Asset Managers and Implement
Once the appropriate asset allocation is in place, we deploy what we regard as the best asset managers available. We allocate your assets primarily among mutual funds; again, taking into consideration your personal objectives and risk tolerance. We may also use other investment vehicles. Unlike most banks and brokerage firms, we don’t promote any proprietary products; our sole focus is on your success, not on selling.
Step Three: Monitor Asset Performance
We monitor your asset management plan, including portfolio rebalancing and tax planning. Our INVESTMENT COMMITTEE regularly screens and monitors money managers in each asset class. We measure them compared to their peers and against suitable benchmarks, and we’re proactive in replacing those who fail to perform well.
